Popocatépetl volcano (Mexico): strong explosions and ongoing ash emissions

Expect the weather to change a bit (colder).  More ashes in the atmosphere, less light, therefore colder weather.

Activity, both internal and external, remains elevated. A constant steam plume can be seen rising on webcams and a steam-gas-ash plume rises up to about 1.5 km above the volcano. The seismic signal shows frequent earthquakes and emission events.
